André Reis

“Caparicano” of gem, a nurse by profession and traveller by passion. Coincidentally, and translated from Dutch, I have inscribed this passion in my name (“Reis” = “Travel”).

I like airports, train stations, bus terminals… and the eminence of the trip they imply. I love the anarchic traffic of Asian streets and the eminence of an accident that never happens. I like to make plans and find out on the journey that the best moments happen when we allow changing those plans.

Travelling is changing and breaking down internal borders crossing external borders. Travelling is living the difference and sharing it. Travelling is changing perspectives and seeing new horizons.

To travel is to be free to be happy.
